Mindi Cox

Mindi Cox is Senior Vice President of People & Great Work at O.C. Tanner, a company through personalized employee recognition solutions improves workplace cultures.

Mindi works to connect people with purpose. She believes an organization’s business potential is intimately tied to its sense of humanity. Her goal is to help cultivate workplace cultures where people feel connected to the greater purpose and impact of their work. Her focus is on work/life, wellbeing, and whole-life awareness in the workplace.

She has 20 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and as a Human Resource Executive focused on practices that contribute to strengthening company culture.

Recently, Mindi was named 2018 Human Resource Executive of the Year by the Stevie® Award for Great Employers and recognized as Human Resource Executive of the Year by Utah Business Magazine. She is SPHR and SHRM – SCP certified. She also holds a BA in Journalism and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah. 

Rod Johnson

Rod Johnson, currently based in the Phoenix area, is Head of Service Operations for Farmers Insurance.  As a senior Operations and Customer Care executive, he helps nationwide enterprises embrace a culture of integrity to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Rod is integral to grow sales revenue and develop talent, while empowering companies to engage their customers and simultaneously save millions.

During his career, Rod has: controlled nearly $300M in P&L, saving tens of millions by process improvement; managed 2,800 employees in the US and globally, leading hundreds to executive outcomes; supported nationwide operations with 9 sites and led global operations in four other countries; cultivated leadership throughout the enterprise with countless training and mentoring projects.

He also held several executive roles leading membership retention strategies with AOL for 8+ years during both the prime of the site and its turnaround. Prior to AOL, Rod led employee development with America West Airlines. 

Rod holds a BS in Psychology from Arizona State University, along with a MBA (International Management) from Georgetown University. 

Veronica Summer

Veronica Sommer was the #1 sales rep in the Cutco/Vector Marketing organization during her one year of her Hall of Fame career with the company. She then spent 20+ years in the recruiting industry, including starting and operating her own successful company for 16 of those years.

By 2014, Veronica founded her own coaching business, The Kindness Solution, with the mission to help people create vibrant health, deep fulfillment, and happy relationships.

Today, she also actively supports Children’s Voice International, a non-profit that is striving to end the perpetual cycle of human trafficking by supporting the educational and personal success of its child victims. Veronica Sommer has a vision for a better world and is doing her part to help make it a reality.
