Jill Unikel
Jill Unikel is a professional with proven experience creating and leading marketing & PR strategies for Fortune 1000 to small and startup companies. With both U.S. and international marketing experience, she is a creative problem solver with a track record of implementing programs to increase brand awareness and drive customer leads and engagement.
In her current role with Salesforce as SVP, Employee Communications and Engagement, Jill leads the Employee Engagement team, responsible for keeping everyone in the know, along with creating candidate and employee experiences to attract top talent, fuel the culture and drive employee engagement.
In addition to her role at Salesforce, Jill is a Board Member at Dress For Success, a nonprofit to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and career development tools to thrive in work.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Jill was Director, Marketing at Robert Half and Marketing Specialist with MetricTest.
She holds a BA in Psychology from University of Michigan.
Elizabeth Hart
Elizabeth Hart joined Axon in 2019 as SVP, People Operations and is responsible for leading the company’s global people organization.
Prior to joining Axon, Elizabeth was the CAO for Trax Group, a SaaS based startup, and spent 5 years at Bloomberg, LP. While at Bloomberg, she held a variety of global roles, including Interim Recruiting Lead for Asia, HR Leader for the Industry Verticals and Chief of Staff for Bloomberg Government.
With philanthropy and giving back core to her, Elizabeth currently sits on the Board of Girls In Tech, Phoenix.
Elizabeth holds BS in Business Administration from University of Mary Washington.
Kate McMillen
Kate McMillen has nearly 15 years of progressive hands-on talent strategy experience and a belief that the best organizations and leaders are the ones who prioritize their people strategies.
Her leadership approach is to discover what makes people happy and create space for those things to manifest fully. She has a strong vision and deep passion for building inclusive cultures. Kate enjoys leading autonomous teams, who own outcomes and prioritize fun and growth.
As VP, People and Culture with MetaBank (where she joined shortly after this panel discussion), Kate leads the talent and culture strategy, including employee experience, recruiting, performance and rewards, retention, and career development.
Prior to joining MetaBank, Kate served as the Senior Director Talent, Culture & Communications at Vixxo, Head of Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion at Infusionsoft, and Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, Talent and Strategy at Insperity.
Kate holds a MS in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University and BA in Geography and Global Studies from University of Tennessee. She also has a Leadership Styles and Organizational Climate Certification from Korn Ferry and is a Real Colors Certified Facilitator from NCTI, Inc.
