Julie Develin

A leading voice on employee relations, workplace flexibility, and workforce development, Julie Develin, SHRM-SCP, GTML, is a Sr. Partner, HCM Advisory Group at UKG. With more than 17 years of experience as an HR executive focused on improving workplace culture and enhancing the employee experience, Develin helps organizations implement strategic employee workplace initiatives to enhance productivity, improve communication, and increase satisfaction across the workforce. A seasoned speaker at conferences and other business events, she has presented hundreds of sessions for HR audiences of all sizes and enjoys connecting with and learning from other HR and business professionals.

Julie holds an M.S. in human resources development from McDaniel College, where she continues to work today as an adjunct professor in the human resources management and human services management programs. She is also the co-host of The People Purpose Podcast—a show that focuses on all things people at work.

James Stevens

James Abeyta Stevens recently retired as a Director of Human Resources in 2021 in the Native American tribal gaming industry extending more than two decades.

As a therapist, he currently assists those with gambling addictions, bereavement, substance abuse, domestic violence, and career counseling. James recently took over as the CHRO for his agency, New Mexico Wellness Center, where he doesn’t only do therapy, but completes all the HR functions as well. You can take the person out of Human Resources, but you can never take the Human Resources out of the person. In fact, “Fun” is James’ middle name as he is a corporate culture Champion. He led his large organization to more than a dozen #1 titles in a large company category within the State of New Mexico in organizational competitions such as the Albuquerque Journal Top Workplaces, Best Places to Work, and others.

James is also the current SHRM New Mexico State Council Director and the very first male in this position in SHRM NM history. He is a driving force to bettering Human Resources support in and around the state of New Mexico.

Jeff Nally

Jeff Nally is an executive coach, professional speaker, and author who creates no-nonsense neuroscience solutions with leaders to be more human at work. Jeff is the president of Nally Group Inc., a practice focused on the science of leadership and human interaction in the workplace, and he is the Chief Coaching Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at CoachSource, the world’s most experienced leadership coaching company.

Jeff volunteers as a board member at The Society for Human Resource Management Foundation and the board of the Gay Coaches Alliance. Jeff was named one of the top Twenty People to Know in Human Resources by Business First of Louisville and is the 2021 recipient of the Thomas J. Leonard Coach Humanitarian Award.
